Two things were proven here.

1) That music is one of the most infectious forms of euphoria. So much so, that it transforms a normally mundane tradition of making breakfast and turns it into an imaginary night club where our chef in question, was no doubt "putting it on" someone..lol

And

2) That there is no greater recipe for asshole than that of a good friend and a camera…lol

The 16th anniversary of the day we lost one of Hip Hop's Greatest. R.I.P. The Notorious B.I.G.

Its crazy that I can still remember how I felt when I first heard the news that Biggie died. In fact, I remember watching the news coverage on Fox 5. It was sad then and remains sad now. B.I.G. is definitely one of great heros of our culture and on a yearly basis without fail, the hip hop community stops everything to pay him homage and remember the name. Still generating commotion, theres yet another rapper unhappy with Mtv's Hottest MC in the game list. Pusha T calls Dj Semtex and voices his thoughts

This afternoon Pusha called up DJ Semtex. After revealing some the producers that will be featured on his upcoming album My Name Is My Name, he expressed his disappointment about being omitted from the Hottest MC list. Hell hath no fury like a rapper scorned.

I found this to be a pretty good watch. I feel like A.S.A.P. Rocky is definitely leaving his mark in the game. Especially since his album reached the #1 spot on billboards, all while still including records like "1 train"  which featured a barrage of new and underground rappers, including the newly announced #1 Hottest MC in the game, Kendrick Lamar. Thats right folks, I think rap is making a change bringing back some of that golden era flow mixed with some new era energy and A.S.A.P. Rocky is undoubtedly one of the leader of that change. ~alx.O

Personally, although I like 2chains, I don't how he even made it that far as to be deemed #2 hottest MC in the game, but goddamn am I so excited about Kendrick Lamar being #1. His album, Good kid m.A.A.d City was beyond dope, instance classic in my opinion. He definitely deserved that look and all is well in hiphop once again.~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Drake- 5AM In Toronto Prod by Boi1da

It is so refreshing to hear Drake get back to his aggressive word play again. Not to say that his more commercial lyrics aren't good, they are, but essentially for me, it was this kinda Drake that turned me into a fan. And believe me when I say this, I am a Drake fan. I go back to all the mixtape's and still bump tracks off them, and this track right here felt like a hybrid of Drake "Come back season" and Drake on some new shit. "5am in Toronto" definitely gets an alx.O Co-sign.~ alx.O
