NEW MUSIC: Mario - Somebody Else Ft. Nicki Minaj [Audio]

Mario is back at it again and definitely coming with his "A" game. "Somebody Else" is definitely my new favorite song. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Mac Miller - Watching Movies (Official Audio)

I'm really liking how this album is sounding. Despite his competition on that release date, I have a feeling Mac is gonna do just fine. "Watching Movies" is so hauntingly dope that it gets head bobbing instantly, my new favorite track from him. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: French Montana ft Raekwon & NeYo -- We Go Where Ever We Want

I heard this on the ride home today and was like "damn, That shit go hard!!" This is the first track I hear of the album and real talk if its anything like this, I can definitely see myself copping it. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Fabolous x 2 Chainz “When I Feel Like It”

Usually I unquestionably ride with Fabo, but idk how I feel with this one. I mean it is growing on me but it's taking some time. I did find it funny tho, how 2chainz touches on the fact that he may not be someones favorite rapper, but that their favorite rapper has already done a song with him, so it's w/e to him. Kinda sounds like someone's getting a bit of hate mail doesn't it..lol ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: DJ Kay Slay Ft. Joell Ortiz, Fred The Godson & Raekwon “Hitman For Hire”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

All i can say is dope, the line up is dope and the verses is dope. Dj KaySlay killed it with this calabo fo'real. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: The-Dream Ft. Pusha T x Big Sean “Pussy” WARNING!!! NSFW

So far every song I've heard off of TheDream's new album "4play" has been dope. This one being extraordinarily cool as he once again takes a simple concept and turns it into a freaking really dope song. Oh and the visuals are splendid, yep that's right, splendid…lol That's just how I feel about that. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Jadakiss x The-Dream “Big Boy Dialogue”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It's always great to hear new music from Jada, he never disappoints. So its no surprise that pairing him up with TheDream was a success. Big Boy dialogue hits hard and Jada's bars hit even harder. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: B.o.B - Chandelier ft. Lauriana Mae

B.o.B., in my eyes, is starting to become one of hiphop's great anthem makers. He just has this amazing gift of combining great beats with great concepts and dope, meaningful lyrics. And with "Chandelier" with the help of Lauriana Mae, he once again creates, what I think is, yet another anthem for the world to enjoy. Set to vlog style footage, both the video and the song are a win win in my book. ~alx.O

New Music: J.Cole “Niggaz Know”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Taking some flow cues from "Notorious Thugz" by Biggie and Bone thugs, Cole does what he does best and makes sure niggas know he's one of greats. I really enjoyed the contrast between his rapping and his singing on the hook, it felt really organic and loaded with soul. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I can't wait til June 18th, Cole's gonna kill the game K.Dot style. No wonder they cool. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Mac Miller x The Internet Objects In The Mirror (In Studio Performance Video)

I'm still fairly new to Mac Miller, but wow creatively I thought this was awesome. I wouldn't call him a singer but he can hold a note and he definitely greats points for being brave enough to do it. Overall, I think the song was great, it has a great feel, the lyrics are poignant and not dull, and he nailed it. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Joey Bada$$- Word Is Bond (Prod. Statik Selektah)

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

:::Sigh of relief:::
It's so fucking dope to hear some real dope hiphop like this again. Joey Bada$$ is probably one my favorite new comers in the game. He blends a wonder combination of old school inspirations with that new school diction and word play that I find to be so needed and refreshing. Needless to say, this song is dope. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Tory Lanez – Fourteen & 40′s

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It's the first time I hear of this guy, Tory Lanes, but I can't say I'm disappointed. The track concept carries well over that "all I need" sample and his lyrics serve as the propellant to make this song real dope. I wanna do more research on this dude before I declare my fanship but so far, he's definitely in my good graces. ~alx.O

INTERVIEW: J. Cole On Born Sinner‘s Writing Process (Video)

Very insightful. I think I might pick up that book myself. ~alx.O

"The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron

NEW MUSIC: Kelly Rowland Ft. Beyonce & Michelle Williams ” You Changed”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

In the latest release off her new album, Kelly reunites her former bandmates Beyonce and Michelle to make "You've Changed" which loosely feels like a sequel to her previous release "Dirty Laundry", both of which are great songs. Sorry for the audio , it's the best I could find. ShoutOut to KarenCivil for this one, she had it when no one else did. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Mike Posner – I.D.G.A.F. f. Pharrell

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Lending his vocals and I'm sure production skills, Pharell jumps on the brand new track from Mike Posner  and definitely takes it to a whole new level. Definitely a dope feel good record "I.D.G.A.F." is a winner in my book. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Vado – Off Hiatus (Video)

I thought this track was dope, Vado definitely got bars. My favorite had to be "Bosses take loses and workers just make excuses." Now thats some real shit right there. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Jessie J - WILD (Official) ft. Big Sean, Dizzee Rascal

Jessie J returns to the music scene with a brand new look and some brand new music featuring one of Detroit's finest Big Sean and one of the U.K.'s finest Dizzee Rascal. I thought the song has a great feel and is very easy to like. I enjoyed the minimalist approach to the video, it really helped the music cut right through nicely. ~alx.O

NEW VIDEO: The Bullitts Ft. Yasiin Bey, Jay Electronica & Lucy Liu “They Die By Dawn”

It's been a minute since I've heard anything from Mr. Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def and Jay Electronica, thankfully the rarely disappoint. Taken from unreleased footage from the film "They Die, By Dawn" this is the title track by The Bullitts.

NEW MUSIC: Mac Miller- "Goosebumpz"

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I wouldn't call myself the biggest Mac Miller fan, but this track is bananas. Definitely considering copping that album now. ~alx.O

INTERVIEW: Nicki Minaj vs. Peter Rosenberg On HOT97 Morning Show

Although normally I find these guys to be horrible interviewers, I'm not a hater, they knocked this one out the park. This was a really dope interview. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Emilio Rojas “Tomorrow Never Comes”

It kills me how Emilio Rojas can still be so underestimated and underrated. I been following him now for 3 years and everything I've heard from his really dope, not a single wack track. Of the new era of young artists he's probably one of my favorites. Always original and always bringing hard bars over hard beats via deep and well delivered concepts. "Tomorrow Never Comes" is just another great addition to what is already starting to be a solid catalog of music. "No Shame, No Regrets" coming soon. ~alx.O

INTERVIEW: Ray J Interview With The Breakfast Club!

I really like how much Ray J has grown from previous years. He seems really calm, collective and focused on his game and that's something I can always appreciate from a person. Overall, I think it was a great interview, I laughed my ass off when they started playing clips from that "Ray J rant". ~alx.O

INTERVIEW: B.o.B Interview At The Breakfast Club Power 105.1

I stand firm in my position that The Breakfast Club is the only morning radio show worth tuning it to. I think they did a much better job of interviewing B.o.B. than Hot97's Morning Show. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: THE GAME – TILL WE MEET AGAIN (R.I.P. FROGG)

The Game once again reminds us why he is one of the modern greats. In "Till We Meet Again", He touches on the loss of his friend Michael "Frogg" Reshard who was shot and killed last month. Although a very touching song, it is always a sad moment in HipHop when really great music is inspired by really horrific realities, especially when that inspiration is a death. I send my condolences to the family and I prepare myself for whats to come. The Game- "Operation: kill Everything", coming soon. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Clinton Sparks Feat. Macklemore, 2 Chainz & D.A. – “Gold Rush”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Though completely unexpected, I have to say I really liked the song a lot. 2Chains did exactly what I expected from him which as cool but then so did Macklemore which was freaking awesome. Clinton Sparks, you mastermind you!!! lol Definitely see this as one of this summers anthems, no doubt at all. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Machine Gun Kelly feat. Pusha T & Meek Mill - “Pe$o”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I can't lie, I'm still on the fence on whether or not I'm a fan of MGK's music, but I can't deny the fact the guy got skills. "Peso" carries well and his song mates do a great job of solidifying the track as dope. I'll take it and keep my mind open on MGK, I might just come around after all. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Fat Joe feat. Future – “Love Me Long Time”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Although Joe might be having some legal problems, one things for sure, music still ain't a problem for Fat Joe. "Love Me Long Time" is a solid record with an incredibly great feel to it. And although Joe comes strong on the record it's definitely Future's vocals that take this song to another level. I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes one of the summer jams of 2013. ~alx.O

Elliott Wilson from Rap Radar.com Sits Down with Ciph, Rosenberg, and Ebro

YN did his thang once again and although I don't usually see eye to eye with anything that Cypha, Rosenberg, or Ebro have to say but I can understand and agree everything in this interview. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Tyga - For The Road (Explicit) ft. Chris Brown (Official Video)

Tyga takes a more softer approach to what most would come to recognize as "good-bye" sex and with the help of Chris Brown lending his talents on the hook, I'd say this track is a winner. Subtle, smooth, and to the point. Just like life sometimes. ~alx.O

J. Cole's "Born Sinner" Vlog series #3 (Dreamville member Ibraham "IB' Hamad)

Mr. Cole is back again with the third installment of his BornSinner Vlog series and in this one, he shines the light on his right hand man Ibraham "IB' Hamad. In this one Hamad speaks on his reaction when he first heard J.cole, to how the Dreamville Collective came to be, and also pushing up the release date of BornSinner. Overall, I enjoyed every minute of this. He has heart and showcases the level of confidence for this new album and also how much work that has gone into building the J.Cole brand. Aww man, the suspense is truly building now, June 18th can't come any sooner. ~alx.O

INTERVIEW: YN aka Elliot Wilson Returns To The Breakfast Club

I, for one, definitely respect what this man has done for the HipHop community tremendously. As far as giving the people up close and instant access to new music and new artist, YN is the best at what he does. ~alx.O

Hit-Boy Receives Grammy Award

I think it's so dope to see this new wave of producers triumph in the game. It's inspiring for cats like myself who spend countless hours mastering a craft in pursuit the dopeness. Congrats Hit-Boy, I'm sure you'll see plenty more. ~alx.O

New Music: Ciara ft. Nicki Minaj “I’m Out”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Nicki killed her verse but idk I'm a little on the fence about Cici tho. Definitely has a great feel but I wasn't to keen on the songwriting. But then again, as a fan of Ciara, I might just be expecting a lot from  her and could just be over analyzing a fun/feel good record for the ladies. I'ma give this one some time, see if it grows on me. ~alx.O

New Music: K.Michelle-”V.S.O.P.”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I just got put onto K Michelle while listening to the Breakfast Club on Power105 this morning, and so far I really like her music. This girl can really sing her ass off and her pen game is just as tough, which becomes very evident once you hear her new single "V.S.O.P". I'm sold. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Loaded Lux Ft. Redman & Method Man “Rite (Remix)”

Okay, something for my real hiphop heads who need that boom bap to hit hard. I loved the energy of those whole record, really dope and it's always good to see Red &Meth still doing there thang. ~alx.O

MUSIC NEWS: J.Cole sheds some light on his decision to push up the release of his album to drop on the same day as Kanye West.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

J.Cole says,

“Instantly the lightbulb [turned on]… it got real. I made one phone call to somebody that would know, just to make sure first. As soon as I got it confirmed, I was like, ‘Yo…’ The idea hit me instantly: ‘You got to go to that date’. I’m not going to sit [here]… I worked too hard to come a week later after Kanye West drops an amazing album. It’d be like, ‘Oh and J.Cole dropped too, a week later.’ Nah. I’m going to go see him on that date. He’s the greatest. So it’s like, I’m a competitor by nature so it was instant, it wasn’t even a thought.”
“It’s a definite statement about how I feel about my album, which is confident. At the same time, let’s not forget this is Kanye West. He bets 100, 1,000, whatever the perfect is. His track record is flawless. I’m only expecting an incredible album from him. But I know what I have.”

NEW MUSIC: Hit-Boy - Fan ft. 2 Chainz

As a rapping producer myself, I must say, I love how rap/producers make the best records. Starting with Kanye West to J.Cole and now Hit-Boy hitting them tracks hard. The song is dope and beat is crazy dope, and though I'm not to crazy bout 2chains as an artist period, I even liked his verse on this. I really see Hit-Boy being a major player in the years to come. ~alx.O

I really enjoyed the song and the visuals were pretty good too. He can definitely sing. And although he didn't showcase that much, in regards to dancing skills, something tells me that he might of held back a bit and just kept it simple. I'm really interested in seeing where this up and comer takes it, I think he has the potential to be something really big. ~alx.O

NICKI MINAJ & LIL WAYNE PERFORM “HIGH SCHOOL” AT BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS 2013

213519223415 by YardieGoals

Perhaps the most straight forward performance of the evening, nothing to over the top. But GODDAMN!!! that is ass PHAT!!! MMMhhmmm Weezzy is in fact the luckiest man in the world..lol

WILL.I.AM & JUSTIN BIEBER PERFORM “#THATPOWER” AT BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS 2013

213519221057WILL by YardieGoals

The performance was okay, I think the song itself carried a lot of weight this time. Although very creative and cool in the video, the sync movement just fell short in real life. Perhaps due to the lack of control over the camera angles, but it just didn't recreate the same cool effect from the video. Decent performance but I expected more from Will.I.AM. ~alx.O

JENNIFER LOPEZ & PITBULL PERFORM “LIVE IT UP” AT BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS 2013

JLO213519215538 by YardieGoals

All I can say is WOW!! My childhood crush on JLo remains fully intact. She's putting women younger than her to shame. She killed that shit. And no matter how you feel about her actual singing abilities, she definitely takes the crown for remaining relevant all these years and still being able to put out good music. And as far as Pitbull goes, again club bass and some rhymes and it sounds dope. ::Pitbull voice:: "Dale" ~alx.O

MIGUEL PERFORMS “ADORN” AT BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS 2013

MABMA by YardieGoals

I really enjoy the energy that Miguel brings to the stage, especially with his James Brown-esque style footwork. but some real shit, WOW he messed that poor girl up. Right at the 2:58 mark this dude slams that girls head and keeps it moving like nothing. Definitely a professional but he better send that girl some flowers or something. ~alx.O

PITBULL & CHRISTINA AGUILERA PERFORM “FEEL THIS MOMENT” LIVE AT 2013 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS

213519212615 by YardieGoals

I think Pitbull can add club bass and rhymes to just about anything and it'll sound good..lol So its no surprise that both he and Ms Christina had a great performance, but wow Morten Harket coming out at the end, that was kinda out of left field…lol Fortunately for me tho, I've always liked the original song by A-ha, so this was definitely a pleasant surprise. ~alx.O

JUSTIN BIEBER PERFORMS “TAKE YOU” LIVE AT BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS 2013

Say what you will about Justin Bieber but you can't deny that boy is talented. ~alx.O

BRUNO MARS PERFORMS “TREASURE” LIVE AT 2013 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS

21351927 by YardieGoals

Bruno Mars, in my strong opinion, continues to be the breath of fresh air I need in Pop music. He always brings his own flare and layers it with very cool funk/disco grooves that makes staying still a difficult task. I thought the matching red suits was very reminiscent of those old 70's R&B groups, and they set a great visual for performance. ~alx.O

MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS PERFORM “THRIFT SHOP” LIVE AT 2013 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS

21351924123 by YardieGoals

I freaking love this song and they killed this performance. ~alx.O

CHRIS BROWN – FINE CHINA (LIVE AT 2013 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS)

21351923214 by YardieGoals

Great song and dope performance but did anyone else notice his voice cracking a little bit.   ~alx.O

Genuino - Te Necesito (Video Official)

I posted the audio for this track a few days ago and now I bring you the visuals for it. Again, I don't normally post spanish music but I really like the track, so ehh w/e..lol ~alx.O

An incredibly poignant scene from "My Dinner with Andre" (1981)

Something worth watching I thought. I'll reserve my opinion as I do not want to, in any way, alter your own interpretation of what is being proposed in this scene. I would, however, ask that you consider all things with an open mind and as unbiased as you possibly can. ~alx.O

Michael Francis - "Dear…" prod by CitoOnTheBeat (Official Audio)

I've been following Michael Francis for a lil while now and he just keeps getting better and better. As a jersey native, I'm glad to see someone from my walks of life making great music and for filling their dreams. ~alx.O

INTERVIEW: HuffPost Live Interviews The Breakfast Club

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I prefer The Breakfast Club in the morning over Hot97 any day. There just better. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: The Weeknd- Kiss Land

Although not to far from his comfort zone, The Weeknd's "Kiss Land" proves to be an intoxicatingly dope song. You can't help but just drown his music, it's so transfixing and provocative. ~alx.O

INNOVATIONS: Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre give $70 million to create new academy at USC

Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre give $70 million to create new academy at USC

Entrepreneurs and music industry icons Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre (Andre Young), already known as forward-thinking visionaries in music and business, are giving $70 million to USC to create a unique undergraduate experience.
The duo’s gift will establish the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation, an environment for those rare undergraduate students whose interests span fields such as marketing, business entrepreneurship, computer science and engineering, audio and visual design, and the arts. The program will prepare them to become a new generation of inspired innovators.
The goal of the academy is to shape the future by nurturing the talents, passions, leadership and risk-taking of uniquely qualified students who challenge conventional views of art and industry. The academy will attract students who are motivated to explore and create new art forms, technologies and business models — and who will benefit from a stimulating environment that fosters exploration and discovery beyond traditional educational and disciplinary boundaries.
“The vision and generosity of Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young will profoundly influence the way all of us perceive and experience artistic media,” said USC President C. L. Max Nikias. “USC provides an extraordinarily rich academic, research and artistic environment. We are committed to encouraging our students to use their intellectual and creative resources to effect change in all segments of society. Our goal is to ensure that the academy is the most collaborative educational program in the world.”
Iovine and Dre’s gift is part of The Campaign for the University of Southern California, a multiyear effort to secure $6 billion or more in private philanthropy to advance USC’s academic priorities and expand its positive impact on the community and world.
To meet student interests and to meld inspiration with education, the academy’s specially designed courses will provide students with a solid background in the integration of technology with all aspects of creativity along with a thorough understanding of existing and potential business, marketing and distribution strategies.
Drawing on the expertise of top faculty from the USC Marshall School of Business, the USC Roski School of Fine Arts, the USC Viterbi School of Engineering and the USC Thornton School of Music, the academy will also host industry icons and innovators as visiting faculty and guest speakers. It will offer a highly select group of students an integrated, four‑year course of study that will provide in-depth learning in engineering and computer science, fine arts and graphic design, business, and leadership models. Team-taught interdisciplinary courses will be developed and adapted specifically for the program.
The Iovine and Young Academy will focus on four core curriculum areas: arts and entrepreneurship; technology, design and marketability; concept and business platforms; and creating a prototype.
The academic program will include one-on-one faculty mentoring, opportunities to interact with luminaries from the arts and entertainment industry serving as guest speakers and lecturers, and a broad array of internship opportunities for students.
During their fourth and final year, academy students will take up residence in an experiential setting called the “Garage.” Grouped into self-directed teams, which may include nonacademy students from across the university, these students will determine a project that can be developed into a prototype over the course of the year.
Appropriate faculty members, other artists and business leaders will serve as mentors to each group, and venture capitalists and other real-world experts will be introduced to give students advice and direction. All of these elements will combine into one unique educational experience, where working together, students will challenge one another to take even greater risks in innovation.
“Flexibility is a hallmark of USC, and the academy’s curriculum is incredibly adaptive,” said USC Roski Dean Erica Muhl, who will serve as the academy’s inaugural director. “The curriculum was created to take full advantage of a newly designed, revolutionary educational space that will offer students very powerful tools. Academy students will have the freedom to move easily from classroom to lab, from studio to workshop, individually or in groups, and blow past any academic or structural barriers to spontaneous creativity.
“The academy’s core education will create a common, multilingual literacy and fluency across essential disciplines,” she continued. “This ‘big picture’ knowledge and skill will equip graduates with a leadership perspective that is unparalleled in an undergraduate degree, and that will be applicable to virtually any industry.”
USC’s strategic location in Los Angeles — widely viewed as the creative and media capital of the world — provides an opportunity for students to take advantage of a living laboratory where music, film and visual arts are deeply intertwined. In addition, the university’s proximity to the city’s burgeoning “Silicon Beach” as well as Northern California’s Silicon Valley provides access to an array of technological advances from which students can draw inspiration.
The academy will enroll its first class of 25 students in fall 2014. Applicants will be accepted based on a rigorous review process encompassing demonstrated academic excellence as well as proven ability for original thought. Students who complete a course of study in the academy will graduate with a degree that recognizes each individual’s ability to engage and succeed in an educational experience that is constantly asking the question, “Why not?”
Iovine, chairman of Universal Music Group’s Interscope-Geffen-A&M Records, is one of the music industry’s most accomplished and respected leaders. Iovine began his four-decade career as a recording engineer, working with the likes of John Lennon and Bruce Springsteen. As record producer, he was instrumental in the career breakthroughs of artists such as Patti Smith, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, U2, Stevie Nicks, Dire Straits and The Pretenders.
Iovine co-founded Interscope Records in 1990, widely regarded as the home of music’s greatest artists, including Dr. Dre, Nine Inch Nails, Mary J. Blige, No Doubt and Lady Gaga, among others.
Born in Compton, Calif., hip-hop pioneer/producer Dre began his career as a member of the World Class Wreckin’ Crew. In 1986, he co-founded N.W.A. and won critical and commercial acclaim with the group’s 1988 landmark rap album Straight Outta Compton. In 1992, Dre released his solo debut, the G-funk masterpiece The Chronic, which Rolling Stone hailed as one of the greatest albums ever made.
With the launch of his own record company, Aftermath Entertainment, in 1996, Dre went on to discover and nurture such next-generation hip-hop superstars as 50 Cent, The Game, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem.
In 2006, Iovine and Dre co-founded Beats Electronics, a high-performance headphone and sound transmission company intent on recapturing the fidelity of the studio. With its expansion into smartphones and car audio systems, Beats by Dr. Dre has captured 40-percent market share of the entire billion-dollar headphones industry.

Kanye West Debuts both "New Slaves" & "Black Skinhead" On SNL

Personally, I have no idea where this new album is going but it seems as though Kanye is taking a very controversial position and saying some crazy shit. And to top that, he's on SNL, a largely white demographic show that's on one of this biggest Tv networks in America, force feeding the topic of modern racism, corporate racism, and consumerism. And though yes, to many it may seem that he fell into the "Angry Black Man" stigma, But I think it's quite the opposite. I think he showcased control and poise as he preformed two of the most intense songs I've ever heard from him. Creatively, I admire his courage and artistically, I am transfixed with his vision. He's talking about the same things that all the conspiracy theorists are talking about. The same "Corporations are controlling our lives" lingo that facebook is littered with daily. My only question is, will the people embrace the message or ignore it because it's Kanye West that's delivering it? ~alx.O

TGT - Sex Never Felt Better [Official Video]

Although never really a Tank fan, I've always been a fan of both Tyrese and Ginuwine. And yes, TGT is very reminiscent of the late "LSG" r&b group consisting of Gerald Levert, Keith Sweat, and Johnny Gil. I think TGT brings an old concept back to life again and cuts through with veil with great vocals and iconic R&B grooves. "Sex Never Felt Better" is a win in my book. I can't wait to hear more. ~alx.O

The-Dream - IV Play (Official Video)

Now back with the visuals for the "4play" TheDream and director X, killed it. From the color, to the architecture, and the beautiful women the correlation becomes very clear. "I fucking love art"- no literally, that's what I understood from the video..lol Idk, maybe I'm wrong, what do you think he meant? ~alx.O

Wayne Brady Freestyles over the 5 Fingers of Death

Get Ya GameUp: "Ex-Drug Trafficker Turned Millionaire Real Estate & Business Mogul" Jay Morrison Wants To Teach How To Brand Yourself

I couldn't stress any harder, how important branding is to all of us up can coming entrepreneurs. It is the back of bone of our identity to the world and the stepping stones that lead to our successes. Who are you targeting? What do you want them to recognize you? and are you doing all that you should to make that happen? Ablegreen Entertainment, for people who are not satisfied with "good enough". People, who believe in overcoming challenges and persevering no matter what. That is the mindset and identity of my company, what's yours? ~alx.O

New Music: Kid Ink “Sunset”

I'm just getting into Kid Ink now, but so far from what I been hearing I totally get what the hype is all about. This song is beyond easy to like, I wouldn't be surprised if it charts well. NEW MUSIC: TheDream ft Twista - 4Play

NEW MUSIC: French Montana Ft The Weeknd - Gifted

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I couldn't find a better version of this song anywhere, so shoutOut to KarenCivil for getting the exclusive on this one. She definitely got it first. Dope song by the way ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Kelly Rowland – “Dirty Laundry”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

All I can say is wow. In a very artistic and bold yet vulnerable way, Ms Kelly poured out her heart and soul in this diary entry of a song. In this one she touched topics varying from the Destiny's Child break up, depression, domestic abuse, and survivorship. I think this'd be the most personal I've ever heard Ms kelly go and I am definitely not disappointed. Great song. ~alx.O

New Music: Emilio Rojas “Did It Again”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I been following Emilio Rojas for a minute now and so far he never disappoints. Beyond being easy on the ears, Emilio showcase a lil bit of vocal range as he delivers very clever yet very poignant lyrics. So whether giving you straight bars or making the ladies fall in love, Emilio never fails to bring his "A" game. I can't wait till he releases his new project "No Shame/No Regrets" I anticipate it being really dope. I'll keep ya posted on info I can dig, but in the mean enjoy. ~alx.O

J. Cole's "Born Sinner" Vlog series #2 (Kendrick Lamar)

For the second installment of his BornSinner Vlog series, Cole focuses on his good friend and fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick speaks on his influences in hiphop, how hiphop has effected his life and also the advices he's received since he entered the game. Thought provoking and extremely illuminating, I thought the video was great. I can't wait to see part 3, I'm really curious to see who else he brings out. ~alx.O

Part 2 of J. Cole's Bornsinner.com series; created by Dreamville. The second installment documents the day in the life of Kendrick Lamar as he deals with new found fame.

Kendrick Lamar - Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe (Explicit)

Arguably my favorite song off his Album "Good kid M.A.A.D. city", Kendrick never fails to impress me with how deep, complex, and multi-layered his music and visuals can be. From sitting in solemn prayer at a funeral mass, to getting baptized in a bath full of liquor, to riding all deck out in a white limo while in a funeral caravan of cars, to laying his lost friend to rest in a beautiful open field, and his final words "death to molly" all one deep metaphor. A metaphor that I'll leave to your own interpretation. But in a nut shell, it was brilliant. ~alx.O

Omarion's New Dance Move "The Sun Glide": Maybach O Series Pt. 3 In Paris

As I've mentioned before, I have a deep appreciation for dance and as far as I'm concerned Omarion is definitely part of the upper echelon of Hiphop dancers. Although a tad much on the artsy side, I thought this video was very entertaining and done well. I can just imagine the brainstorming sessions before hand, "We should have you dance, in black and white, with the Eiffel Tower as your backdrop." "Brilliant" lol ~alx.O

Fabolous Interview - The Breakfast Club (Power 105.1)

I really like how Fab's is just so comfortable with himself, even with the whole Ray J topic. And though he doesn't like being called old, Fabo is definitely a veteran to the rap scene and should get all the props he deserves for always staying relevant, lyrical, and himself. ~alx.O

Pusha T Reacts to Hearing Final Version Of "Numbers On The Boards"

Proof that they have a sense of humor over there at G.O.O.D. music. ~alx.O

Mariah Carey - #Beautiful ft. Miguel

WOW!!! Mariah is looking amazing in this video, almost back to that 90's Mariah figure we all remember and love. The song is good and adding Miguel to the mix just makes it better. ~alx.O

Pusha T - Numbers On The Boards (Explicit)

Pusha T comes hard with another track of the "Virgina Bred MC" mixtape, which is also stated to be on his up coming solo debut album. "Numbers On the Boards" produced by Don Cannon, is one for the books. The beat is sick and Pusha shows no mercy with his lyrics and slays it. Now I really wanna hear what the album's gonna sound like. ~alx.O

New Music: The-Dream x Jay-Z “High Art”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I'm always on board when TheDream is behind the music and this time is no different. "High Art" is definitely mix of something new with something old but in good o'l "thedream" fashion the lyrics are clever yet simple and straight the point. I like it, what do ya'll think? let me know, comment below or send me message on facebook or twitter @alxo4music

Sensato (Pitbulls Artist) - Back In Business

I haven't heard to much from Sensato but for the most part I thought his verses were pretty tight on this. Imma do some more research and keep ya'll posted. ~alx.O

Who Do We Think We Are (Explicit Video) ::Warning:: NSFW

Draped with a luxurious backdrop, John Legend's "Who Do We Thing We Are" speaks to both the aspiring and the already accomplished. I think it's a solid song with a solid concept and it delivers well. As far as for Rozay, he did what was expected of him, no diss just not really moved by his verse or his presence on the track. Borderline cliche, if you ask me. ~alx.O

J. Cole Born Sinner Vlog #1 (Kay Cole)

When we think of success and of what success brings, I'm sure we all have those very few but close people we'd wanna help out. For Mr. Cole one of those people was his very own mother, Ms. Kay Cole. In the first installment of his BornSinner Vlog series, Kay tells the story of her last days a US postal worker, before Mr. Cole retired her for good. I think Cole has a real solid vision for Born Sinner and I believe these Vlogs are all part of a greater master-piece that will be his album. June 25th, I can't wait. ~alx.O

!!!!!NEW MUSIC!!!! Lauren Hill- Neurotic Society (Compulsory Mix)

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Despite being absent from the music world for many years now, Ms. Lauren still has it and she murdered this shit. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album. ~alx.O

Still in her ongoing battle with Uncle Sam, L Boogie, who has also re-signed with Sony, releases her new track. Ms. Hill says:
“Here is a link to a piece that I was ‘required’ to release immediately, by virtue of the impending legal deadline,” writes Ms. Hill. “I love being able to reach people directly, but in an ideal scenario, I would not have to rush the release of new music… but the message is still there.”

Technology: The Solar Powered Window Socket by Kyuho Song & Boa Oh for Yanko Design

I stumbled upon this and thought it was definitely worth sharing. Not that I'm against cleaner and reusable energy, I just hate how impractical a lot of the cleaner tech can be sometimes. This, however, is very practical, is a great idea, and even has a bit of a stylish flare to it. Sorta the same way the Ipod's simplicity gives it, it's flare. I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing a lot of similar tech in near future. In fact, I'm looking into getting on of these myself. "Goodbye car charger, Hello anywhere charger." ~alx.O

The Window Socket offers a neat way to harness solar energy and use it as a plug socket. So far we have seen solutions that act as a solar battery backup, but none as a direct plug-in. Simple in design, the plug just attaches to any window and does its job intuitively.

Designers: Kyuho Song & Boa Oh

New Music: Problem feat. Bad Lucc - Twerk (Official Video) :::::WARNING NSFW::::: 18yrs or Older

Not the most lyrical but still a pretty dope song for that genre of music. I think it has a great energy and would probably be a crazy track in club when your all liquored up. My favorite line of the track "Got sexy lil body and ya ass look phat…….hmmm, can I hit that?" And yeah of course the visuals where very eye pleasing. Enjoy folks. ~alx.O

NEW MUSIC: Hands On The Wheel Freestyle- Opt ft Queen Nani #DSV2

Although not the greatest visuals I've seen (resolution wise), The song is dope and their lyrics hit all their intended marks. I think this a perfect example of doing the best you can with what you have available, and thats something that Ablegreen is all about. In fact, thats what HipHop is all about, so I had to show some love to these guys. But hey don't taking my word for it, listen for yourself. ~alx.O
